Sleeplessness  and emotional resilience

Sufficient sleep may help you win friends and influence people. Researchers from the UK recently assessed the effects of poor sleep on social interactions. and emotional reactivity in a systematic review . Lack of sleep is associated with a threefold increase of the fear response of the amygdala. In conjunction with an increase of fear there was also a an increase of negative speech, reduction in expression and the number of words used . Altered processing and reduced emotional resilience are also linked with an increase in psychiatric disorders. So get your 7 hours in to be happier and more resilient
